3D LASER SCANNING
3D LASER SCANNING
3D laser scanners are stationary technology used to survey structures or environments in a fast and accurate manner whilst producing comprehensive and detailed data.
Up to two million points per second and thousands of points per square meter can be captured using this technology. The output of a 3D laser scanner is known as a 'pointcloud' which allows for a variety of deliverables to the client.
We utilise the latest 3D laser scanning hardware, namely the Leica RTC360.
The majority of our processing is completed utilising the Leica Cyclone software package.
