Deformation surveys is the inspection, measurement and tracking of alterations in the shape or dimensions of structures as a result of the stresses caused by a range of external elements.
In utilising 3D laser scanning data, we are able to capture and analyse high density information of conditions of objects in a fast and accurate manner.
Examples of applications where this service is the preferred method, include storage tanks, tunnels and shafts - for example, tunnels and shafts present many challenges to those who need to build, modify, or inspect them. Scanning tunnels and shafts allows us to create and compare cross sections using the scanned data as reference.
We also have the ability to check the verticality of walls, as well as floor flatness, using the scanned data as reference.
