AS-BUILT 3D MODELLING
Using the scan data as reference, we are able to create as-built 3D models which provides insight on a structure or site in its current state - in other words, it represents a structure or a site as it was actually constructed.
In addition to extracting the as-built 3D model, we are also able to fit all structural steel elements and piping using a standard corresponding parts schedule of the specific country of location. During this process, we section out the profile and the software will do a best fit using the specific schedule.
We are also able to export IFC files of structural models for structural engineers/draugtsmen to enable them to import it into their structural software packages to conduct further analysis.
We use a wide range of software packages when extracting as-built 3D models, all depending on the object being modelled or the level of data required.
